Cumnor C of E Primary School Primary PE Sport Grant

PE and Sport Premium

The PE and Sport Premium is funding provided by the government to help primary schools improve the quality of PE, physical activity and sport for all pupils.

At our school, we use this funding to support our commitment to providing children with high-quality PE and sporting experiences, helping them to develop their physical skills, confidence, teamwork and enjoyment of being active.

The funding enables us to enhance our PE provision through activities such as staff training and development, specialist coaching, participation in competitions and sporting events, improved resources and equipment, and opportunities for children to take part in a wider range of physical activities.

We aim to ensure that every child has the opportunity to be active, develop healthy habits and discover activities and sports that they enjoy. We also use the funding to support participation and inclusion, ensuring that as many children as possible can benefit from additional sporting opportunities.

The impact of our PE and Sport Premium funding is reviewed throughout the year, and we consider how our spending is helping to improve participation, physical skills, confidence and the quality of PE and sport across the school.

Our annual report provides further information about how the PE and Sport Premium has been used and the impact it has had at our school.
