PSHCE education at Cumnor School is a planned programme of learning through which our children acquire the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to manage their lives. Sessions often take the form of Circle Time in which the children play games which encourage
participation, turn taking and co-operation, and they also learn to discuss issues and to listen and respond to each other. The topics that we cover fit in with our over arching Values (See Values webpage)
Our scheme of work fits closely with the National Seal scheme of work and the Jumping Fish Church of England Scheme.
As part of a whole school approach, our PSHCE scheme of work develops the qualities and attributes pupils need to thrive as individuals, family members and members of society, reflecting British Values.
